The Pianist (Music from the Motion Picture)
After seeing the film - I ran to the nearest record store to purchase the soundtrack. I love Chopin's music and these particular pieces are just perfect to coincide with the events of the film. The Mazurka in A minor is an actual recording of Wladislaw Szpilman, The 'Pianist' himself.

25 Piano Favorites
This CD is one of my favorites because it has a variety of classical songs played on my favorite instrument--the piano. If you enjoy classical music, you will like this CD. The best song on the CD is the finale--Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin. This song is played by an orchestra with the piano featured. This CD may not have famous artists on the cover, but it is truly an experience you don't want to miss.
Best of L.A.G.Q.
LAGQ is wonderful and this CD is a great compilation of some of their best work to date. Extremely versatile musicians, they perform swing music, Sousa march music, a Main Street Electrical Parade tune from Disneyland, as well as music by Copland and Praetorius. It's amazing how they are able to produce the sounds they do. A great compilation and one that would nicely add to your LAGQ collection or a great CD to start that collection!
